What we do with your email.
CoinBucha has no accounts and no paywall. The only personal data we hold is what you type into the weekly-update form.
What we collect
Your email address, the role you pick from the dropdown, and the address of the page you submitted from. Nothing else. We never ask for your name and never handle payment details.
Confirming
Submitting sends one confirmation email and puts you on no list at all — you join only by clicking its link. Don’t click, and the pending record deletes itself after seven days. A 24-hour marker against your address stops a repeat submission being used to mail you the same confirmation over and over. Once confirmed you stay until you unsubscribe, and every email carries the link. A hidden field and Cloudflare Turnstile keep bots out; Turnstile sees your IP to judge whether a submission is automated, and we don’t store it.
Who processes it
- Upstash — hosts the database the list lives in.
- Resend — sends the confirmation email and the weekly update.
- Cloudflare — runs the Turnstile bot check.
- Google Analytics — counts page visits, never linked to your address.
No third-party marketing script runs in your browser here. We never sell or rent your address, and never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion, or object to us using it — one email to hello@coinbucha.com is enough. No form, no account. To simply leave, the unsubscribe link in any email works immediately. If you think we’ve handled your data badly you can complain to your national data protection authority.
